    I recommend Sylvan of Hillsdale whole heartedly. I shopped around before deciding on Sylvan for my son and it was the best decision I ever made. His grades have improved so much that in September he will be in several Honors classes and an AP class.
    Higher grades are great, but it's not just about the grades, along with the higher grades comes other, just as important benefits- my son's self esteem and confidence have grown and that has effected all aspects of his life. It has been an overall great experience for him.
    Bethany, Sylvans Director, goes WAY above and beyond. She is there for the students all the time, in every way.
    She doesn't just make sure the students do well academically, she takes the whole student(emotional, social and academic issues) into consideration in planning what that students individual needs are and then creates a personalized program for them. This strategy helps to ensure each students success.
    Bethany is always available to both parent and student and genuinely cares about my son and his well being, and this has made a huge difference in his life.
    The staff is great and it is amazing to me how flexible they are with scheduling, no where else I had looked into operated this way and the benefit of such flexibility is invaluable.
    As an educator myself, and having worked in multiple educational environments, I can honestly say I have never encountered a more comprehensive program.
    Thank you to Bethany and the entire Sylvan staff.
    They say it takes a village to raise a child, I am so glad Bethany and Sylvan have become part of our village.
